Our specialist team of teachers provide additional opportunities for students across the school to access a range of activities that are designed to further engage students and develop skills. Parents are encouraged to discuss these opportunities with their child’s teacher about the extra curricula activities opportunities.
Extra Curricula Activities
Extension activities: Provide further skill development or enhance those skills already shown by the student e.g. Running clubs, drawing/ painting classes, choir, drumming, song writing or movie making.
High Interest: Designed to expose students to new skills or to re-engage students back into learning while also developing self-confidence and personal development. Sessions include: Art classes involving sculpting, woodwork, construction or Master Chef including designing a menu and various new sports to trial such as; orienteering and lawn bowls.
“Girls Club”: designed for girls in the secondary school. Sessions include; Yoga and Pilates building on personal development skills.
